Thank you to our Community

Lending a Helping Hand

Category: Community
May 30, 2026

In 1931, John DeYoung built this house for Ellen using local labor and materials from the Woodinville area.

Nearly a century later, the Woodinville Heritage Society & Museum is carrying that same spirit forward.

As we care for the DeYoung House today, we continue to rely on the generosity, skill, and support of our local community. From Kathy Maloney helping us with curtains to Tom Brisk of Brisk Home Services helping with power washing, so many people continue to show up for this place in meaningful ways.

This house was built by Woodinville, and it is still being cared for by Woodinville.

To everyone who has donated time, talent, materials, expertise, encouragement, or a helping hand—thank you. You are helping us preserve not just a building, but a shared piece of our community’s story.
